Full Name: Ramon Fernando Rodriguez
Ministry Role: Student Pastor w/ emphasis on music.
Life motto: Who sings this song... I know
Favorite scripture: John 9:9 Some claimed that he was. Others said, "No, he only looks like him." But he himself insisted, "I am the man."
Things that fascinate me: math (because I'm not very good at it), God, iPhones, hilarious/brilliant TV commercials, MacBook Pros, graphic design, photoshop brushes, Gibson Les Pauls, Taylors, Fender Telecasters, geniuses- something about people with an above-average IQ is really intriguing, Jim Dunlop Nylon .73mm guitar picks (how do they not break?), the complex infrastructure known as the female mind
People I would like to meet: All 4 of the Beatles, Starfield, Steven Spielberg, Solomon (I'd ask how he got away with so many wives!), Jason Mraz, Steve Jobs, Owen Wilson, Robin Williams, Demetri Martin (comedian), my future wife who is: Colbie Callait and/or Brooke Fraser
One thing people don't know about me: When I was a little kid, I ate a roach... gross, huh? (and I invented the internet)
Hidden talent: volley-tennis (a game I played in elementary school)
What sport are you NOT good at? I have no knowledge of these things called sports.
Quirks: Before I study/write a message/do-some-thing-important, I have to have my room cleaned, when I text message, I have to use correct punctuation, grammar, and spelling (even my slang is "correctly-spelled" slang!), I always literally judge books by their covers (and the texture of their pages), I secretly wish it was okay for men to carry some-kind of purse-like baggage, 'cause I hate to have things in my pockets.
What makes you laugh? crazy people like Joel Martindale, I make myself laugh quite often, pretty much ANYTHING, situational irony... ooohh, I know... when you're looking really hard to find something and it was in your back-pocket the ENTIRE time...
Least favorite things to do: Drive to the Woodlands with NO AC in the truck, I am not a fan of ironing, waking up early in the morning, sitting in traffic, drugs... definitely don't like 'em!

Besides our beliefs, we also hold to some intrinsic values that dictate how we operate, how we lead, and how we treat others.
- People matter more than programs.
- It is OK to have fun in church. Church should not have to be dry, stale and boring.
- Change is welcome and necessary in growing a church.
- Relationships are at the center of everything we do.
- People take notice when things are done with Excellence.
- Leaders lead by serving, not by bossing.
- All decisions are based on mission and purpose, not what other churches are doing, or what individuals necessarily want.

- People will remember how you treat them, longer than what you told them.
- Sacred Cows make good hamburgers.
|
Since our beliefs are based on God's word, we believe that they are not a fad or a trend. Our beliefs start and end on God's word. We believe it is where truth begins and ends.
- The Bible is the bottom line. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)

- God is God–revealed in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Duet. 6:4; Isa 43:10-11; Matt
28:19)

- Jesus is God’s son, firstborn and only born. (Matt 1:23; Heb 7:26; 1 Peter 2:22; Acts 10:38)

- Man messed up and fell in sin. (Gen 1:26, 27; 2:17; 3:6; Rom 5:12-19)

- Although we don’t deserve it we can be saved. (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Rom 10:13-15; Eph 2:8; 4:24)

- Water baptism and Holy Communion are 2 ordinances of the church. (Matt 28:19; Mark 16:16; 2
Pet 1:4)

- The Holy Spirit can change and empower your life. (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor 12:1-31; John
7:37-39; Acts 2:42, 43)

- We ought to live right, act right and become more like Jesus. (Rom 12:1, 2; 1 Thes 5:23; Heb 12:4;
13:12; 1 Pet 1:5,15-16)

- The church’s job is to help people find God. (Mat 28:19-20; Acts 1:8; Eph 3:10; John 4:23, 24; 1 Cor
12:28; 14:12)

- God calls some into full-time ministry. (Mark 16:15-20; John 4:23-24; Eph 4:11-16)

- God can still heal. (Isa 53:4, 5; Mat 8:16, 17; James 5:14-16)
